How to Migrate NFTs to Base

Why do I need to migrate my NFTs to the Base blockchain?

The existing Olympic Pin NFTs held on the Flow chain will be minted onto the Base chain using the Coinbase Smart Wallet.

How do I migrate my nWayPlay Olympic Pin NFTs to the Base blockchain?

Here are the steps to migrate your nWayPlay Olympic Pin NFTs to the Base blockchain:

1. Create a Coinbase Smart Wallet (Optional)

You will need a Coinbase Smart Wallet to migrate your nWayPlay Olympic Pin NFTs to. If you do not have a Coinbase Smart Wallet, you will need to create one.

Visit the Coinbase Smart Wallet website to create a Coinbase Smart Wallet.

A Coinbase Smart Wallet is required for migration.

If you are having difficulty creating the Coinbase Smart Wallet, please refer to the Coinbase Smart Wallet documentation to troubleshoot.

2. Login into your nWayPlay Wallet Account

Log into your nWayPlay Wallet account here:

After entering your email address, a 6-digit code will be sent to your email. Enter the code in the next screen.

Enter the code sent to your email to log in.

3. Select Connect Wallet

Once you are logged into your nWayPlay Wallet account, select the Connect Wallet button to begin the NFT migration process.

Select Connect Wallet to start.
A Coinbase Smart Wallet is required for migration.

If you have having difficulty creating or connecting your Coinbase Smart wallet, please refer to the Coinbase Smart Wallet documentation to troubleshoot.

For PC users, you may need to download the Coinbase Wallet Chrome extension to connect your Coinbase Smart Wallet.

4. Log into your Coinbase Smart Wallet using your Passkey

5. Once your Smart Wallet is connected, the Wallet section will be updated to show two options:

  1. Migrate to Base

  2. Disconnect

Once your Smart Wallet is connected, new options are available.

6. Select Migrate to base to start the minting process

Select Migrate to base to mint your NFTs on Base.

Once the minting has started, you should receive notification in your Coinbase Wallet that the transfer has been initiated.

7. Preview Minted Assets and Confirm Transaction

If you are accessing the nWayPlay.com website and Smart Wallet through the Coinbase Wallet Chrome Extension, a pop-up will appear showing you a preview of the tranaction.

A preview of the NFTs that will be minted will be shown.

At the bottom of this preview window, a summary of the transaction will be shown.

The nWayPlay website will show the 3 dots until the mint has been completed.

8. Migration Completed

Once the migration has been completed the Custodial Wallet section on the nWayPlay account will be updated with the following:

How do I verify that my NFTs have been successfully migrated?

Once your collection has been minted on Base, you can also check out your collection on Coinbase Smart Wallet on mobile devices or on OpenSea.

Once your collection has been minted on Base, you can also check out your collection on OpenSea.

Can I check which wallet the NFTs were migrated to?

Yes. To help you locate your NFTs, the links in your Custodial Wallet on your nWayPlay account have been updated to direct you to your NFTs on OpenSea and BaseScan.

The links in your Custodial Walet on nWayPlay are replaced with links to OpenSea and BaseScan to help locate your NFTs.

After minting, you can view your NFTs on OpenSea. Simply click the first link under "Migration completed," labeled "Check out your minted Olympic pins," which will take you to OpenSea, filtered by the wallet you used for minting.

Alternatively, to view your migration transaction, click the second link under "Migration completed," labeled "Check out your migrated transaction." This will direct you to BaseScan.

Can I sell / trade my NFTs after migration?

Post-migration, your NFTs will reside in a non-custodial Smart Wallet, granting you complete ownership. This enables you to freely trade, sell, or transfer your NFTs to leverage the full advantages of NFT ownership.
