What is the Olympic Pin NFT Migration to Base?
To ensure continued access and full ownership of your Olympic Pin NFTs, we are offering a migration path from the Flow blockchain to the Base blockchain. This move allows you to transfer your NFTs from the nWayPlay custodial wallet and gain true ownership.
To participate, you'll need to link your Coinbase Smart Wallet to your nWayPlay account. Please note, if you do not complete the migration before the closure deadline, you will lose access to your Olympic Pin NFTs once the site goes offline. The NFT migration period will start on June 9, 2025 at 6:00 PM (PT) and the last day to migrate your NFTs will be July 31, 2025 at 6:00 PM (PT).
If you do not migrate your NFTs to Base before the deadline (7/31), you will lose access to your NFTs on the nWayPlay custodial wallet on the Flow blockchain.
Why are you migrating the Olympic Pin NFTs to Base?
This strategic move is being made to ensure the long-term viability, accessibility, and improved experience for the Olympic Pin NFTs. Here's a breakdown of the key reasons:
Cost-Effective Transactions: Base is a Layer 2 (L2) blockchain solution. This means it offers significantly lower gas fees for transactions and trading compared to Layer 1 blockchains. This will make future interactions with your NFT more economical.
Seamless Marketplace Integration: A significant advantage of Base is its direct integration with the Coinbase Marketplace. This partnership will streamline the process of selling and trading of the Olympic Pin NFTs, offering a familiar and reliable platform.
Elimination of Royalties: We are thrilled to announce a major benefit for sellers: nWayPlay is removing all royalties for transactions on the Base blockchain. This means that 100% of the sales price will go directly to you as the seller, minus any standard marketplace commissions.
Free Migration for Users: To facilitate a smooth transition, nWay is offering to pay for the network (gas) fees. This means that the migration of your NFTs to Base will be completely free for you and all other nWayPlay users.
Enhanced Wallet Control: Currently, the nWayPlay wallet on the Flow blockchain is custodial, meaning nWay has access. With the migration, you'll be able to utilize Coinbase's non-custodial Smart Wallet. This provides you with full and direct control over your NFT, a significant improvement in terms of ownership and security.

Can I check my NFTs on nWayPlay before they are migrated?
Yes, you an check your NFTs before they are migrated on nWayPlay.
Just follow the > in the Custodial Wallet section of the nWayPlay Wallet to view your NFTs.
After migration, you will no longer be able to view your NFTs on nWayPlay.
To view your NFTs after migration, please view them on OpenSea or view the NFTs in the Coinbase Smart Wallet on a mobile device.
Where can I view my NFTs after migration?
After the NFTs have been migrated to Base, you will no longer be able to view them on nWayPlay. After migration, you can view your NFTs on OpenSea or in your Coinbase Smart Wallet on a mobile device.
For PC Smart Wallet users, please note that NFTs are not currently visible within the Coinbase Smart Wallet on PC platforms due to a known bug. Rest assured, your NFTs are present in your wallet, even if they cannot be viewed on PC.
NFTs can be viewed without issue in the Coinbase Smart Wallet on mobile devices.
Can I check which wallet the NFTs were migrated to?
To help you locate your NFTs, the links in your Custodial Wallet on your nWayPlay account have been updated to direct you to your NFTs on OpenSea and BaseScan.
After minting, you can view your NFTs on OpenSea. Simply click the first link under "Migration completed," labeled "Check out your minted Olympic pins," which will take you to OpenSea, filtered by the wallet you used for minting.
Alternatively, to view your migration transaction, click the second link under "Migration completed," labeled "Check out your migrated transaction." This will direct you to BaseScan.
Can I sell / trade my NFTs after migration?
Post-migration, your NFTs will reside in a non-custodial Smart Wallet, granting you complete ownership. This enables you to freely trade, sell, or transfer your NFTs to leverage the full advantages of NFT ownership.
